Spring filled greetings,
before we get to the records we wanted to tell you about the photo exhibition curated by Ali Auger. The subject matter is something very dear to all our hearts and that is the Soho Indie record shop. Entitled Independent and lovengly photographed by Spencer Murphy we are given just a small insight into the obsessive world of the record dealer. More shops have closed since these photos were taken or in our case re-located, so, come and show the love to a now almost extinct way of providing music ( maybe we should invite David Attenborough with his hushed voice to do the voice overs). All details are on the front of the site.

The Gagle 7" is in finally in Ltd. quantities and could all be gone by the time you read this (no bluff).
Honest Jons do it again heavee stylee with the Steel An Skin 12. Shook vol. 2 is in print and so is the new Wax poetics (we liike). If you missed the Dj Day Erykah 7, they just re-pressed; and no, the Katalyst featuring Mr. Spacek will not be getting a vinyl release, sadly cd only. Talking Cds; Gal Costa, Roy Ayers' Ubiquity Vibrations, Grover Washington's Inner City Blues and Terry Callier's Occasional Rain all lovengly issued in digi-pack. For serious Tecky-breaks-house check Lerosa's Blinkerskate. Ya'll lovin'the the canyons we see. The new jamie Lidellanyone?
On a final note, we had to say adios to Danny boy who has returned to Madrid to the best job in the world and we all wish him the very very best in his new endeavours xxx.
