"Bobby Digital was one of Rzaís alter egos and it was under this moniker that we met. I had up until this point photographed every Wu tang emcee bar the Chief Abbott himself. I was struck by his gold chain and given the fact I had tungsten lights and tungsten balanced film I certainly wanted to see how well I could reproduce gold. Itís a this point the technicalities of analogue photography become boring but achieving ultra colour required a lot of technical rule bending. This print, crafted in 1999 in Brixton in a darkroom by myself is in terms of colour temperature is completely different from subsequent prints thereafter as different printers always apply their own colour hue to the photograph. In many respects I would consider this version the analogue master."
